Description

OS X uses the nwb.ini inside the nwb application bundle, not the one visible in the directory, and that has a memory limit set much too low.

Looking at the Eclipse documentation, there is no other way to adjust the memory available to NWB on OS X aside from editing the nwb.ini within the package contents. Eclipse has a simple README file for OS X users on how to change the .ini file. We should create a similar file and include it on both our website and in the OS X install package.

  • priority changed from highest to normal.
  • severity changed from blocker to major.
  • milestone set to 1.0.

How about in the build process? We make the .ini file on the other platforms. What part of the code makes this other .ini file on the Mac? Is it outside our reach?
